Data from Token Terminal shows the tokenized U.S. Treasury market has reached $15.2 billion, distributed across 18 different blockchain networks. Ethereum currently holds the largest share at 43.2%, followed by BNB Chain at 31.5% and Stellar at 7.5%. This growth is linked to increasing demand for on-chain yield and a broader movement of real-world assets onto blockchain infrastructure. The trend highlights how traditional financial instruments and blockchain technology are increasingly intersecting, though outcomes for individual investors will vary and involve risk.
Strategy Reduces BTC Reserve as Corporate Treasury Policy Enters a New Phase
Strategy sold 1,638 BTC for $104.7 million between July 27 and August 2, its third disclosed Bitcoin sale of 2026, bringing total holdings to 842,138 BTC. Proceeds were allocated toward preferred-stock dividends and buybacks of its STRC shares, rather than new Bitcoin purchases. The company has sold a combined 5,258 BTC across three transactions in 2026 to date, while remaining a net buyer for the year overall.
Ethereum Draws Institutional Attention Through Tokenized Funds and Corporate Treasuries
Ethereum is again in focus after BlackRock expanded tokenized money market fund activity and BitMine reported one of the largest corporate ETH reserves. Corporate holder BitMine Immersion Technologies reported ETH holdings of roughly 5.8 million coins, or about 4.8% of total supply, with over 87% of its position currently staked. Ethereum also continues to lead the tokenized U.S. Treasury market with a 43.2% share, according to Token Terminal data.
