BitOasis has decided to delist and cease trading on the following trading pairs:
- LUNA-AED, LUNA-SAR, LUNA-USDT
- UST-AED, UST-SAR, UST-USDT
- NEXO-AED, NEXO-SAR, NEXO-USDT, NEXO-BTC
- TUSD-AED, TUSD-SAR, TUSD-USDT
This decision has been made as a result of our continued monitoring of all listed projects and review of their listing qualifications, and in the interest of safeguarding our customers and optimizing trading experience on our platform.
- The decision to delist LUNA and UST has been made in light of recent events affecting the Terra ecosystem and algorithmic stablecoins, and keeping in mind that these tokens no longer meet our listing criteria, in terms of having utility.
- We are delisting NEXO to safeguard customers on our platform, in light of the potential risk of contagion in the crypto lending space.
- The decision to delist TUSD was based on the project being unable to meet the capital reserve requirements set out in our listing criteria.
Please note that we are continuing to actively monitor the situation with Terra 2.0 (LUNA2), and are reviewing the project’s utility and the ecosystem behind it.
We are following the same proactive review process for Tron due to its USDD algorithmic stablecoin losing its peg to the US Dollar. We will continue to keep you and the rest of our community updated on further developments.
What happens next?
- Trading on the above-listed trading pairs will cease on 22 June 2022 at 12:00 PM UTC
- Deposits for UST, LUNA, NEXO, TUSD will close on 22 June 2022 at 12:00 PM UTC
- Withdrawals for UST, LUNA, NEXO, TUSD will remain open until 6 August 2022 at 12:00 PM UTC
What do you need to do?
- Please cancel your open orders on the above trading pairs before 22 June 2022 at 12:00 PM UTC
- Please withdraw your remaining UST, LUNA, NEXO, TUSD assets as soon as possible. It will not be possible to withdraw your tokens starting 6 August 2022 at 12:00 PM UTC
Please note:
- All remaining open orders will be canceled
- All remaining positions after the withdrawal deadline will be liquidated at the prevailing market price and the equivalent fiat amount will be credited to your BitOasis account
