1. What is BitOasis?

BitOasis was launched in 2015 as the largest, most secure exchange in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, offering over sixty 60 digital assets to users.

We offer our customers the opportunity to buy, sell, and trade cryptocurrency using the UAE Dirham (AED), Saudi Riyal (SAR).

2. How do I create an account on BitOasis?

What you’ll need to get started:

– You will need to be at least 18 years old 
– You will need to be in one of the supported countries (as above)
– A government-issued residency ID or a valid passport
– A valid phone number connected to your mobile device (we’ll send you an SMS)

Step 1: Create an Account
Register a BitOasis account from our mobile app (available on both Android or iOS) or you can register on our website by entering your full name, email address and password.

Step 2: Verify your email
We will send a verification email to your registered email address. Select Verify Email Address in the email you received from [email protected]. By clicking the link in the email, you will be taken back to the BitOasis App or website.

Step 3: Verify your phone number
You will then be required to add a phone number. Select your country, enter the mobile number and click on submit and you will receive an SMS code to verify your number.

3. How to verify my identity?


BitOasis Mobile App
1. Click on your Profile then Verification Status.
2. Click on Verify now under Tier 1 then select your Nationality as per your passport and enter your residential address.
3. Choose your identity document/s and follow the instructions.
4. You will be asked to take a selfie to validate your identity against your document/s.
5. Continue to enter your Source of funds and declare that you have understood and agree to our Terms of Service.
6. Complete your verification request.

BitOasis Website

1. From the Dashboard click on Verify now on the top right corner.
2. Click on Get verified under Tier 1 then select your Nationality as per your passport and enter your residential address.
3. Choose your identity document/s and follow the instructions.
4. You will be asked to upload a selfie to validate your identity against your document/s.
5. Continue to enter your Source of funds and declare that you have understood and agree to our Terms of Service.
6. Complete your verification request.

Please make sure the identity document/s are clear and readable. We aim to review your application within 3 hours. You will be notified via email once approved.

5. How do I apply for higher monthly limits?

BitOasis supports three levels of individual KYC/AML legal requirements, Tier 1,2 and 3. The different tiers grant access to higher deposit/withdrawal limits.

6. Which payment methods does BitOasis currently support?

BitOasis currently supports four payment methods – Deposits will only be accepted from a user’s personal bank account, which has been linked to their BitOasis account.
 
Deposit via Easy Funding
 
Currently only available in the UAE, you can deposit by connecting your local UAE bank directly with BitOasis. You can also enjoy 0% fees on your deposit great for when you are starting your crypto journey!
 
1. Log in to your account via our BitOasis mobile app or website.
2. Click on Deposit and proceed to click on Link Bank.
3. Select your bank name and choose ‘Set Up Payments.
4. Once you reach the Permissions Page select Agree and Continue.
5. Sign in with your credentials to successfully link your bank account.
 
Adding BitOasis as beneficiary typically takes 15 minutes, however this can take up to 24 hours depending on the banking processing times.

Deposits via Bolt  
 
Bolt is a new technology that makes your Easy Funding deposits instant, allowing you to buy crypto in no time for a small fee. Your first deposit is on us!
 
When Bolt is green you can deposit up to 25,000 AED instantly. Please note that Bolt needs to be recharged after every usage, we will make sure to notify you once it is available.
 
*Bolt could be off at certain times due to financial, operational or regional limitations.
 Note : Bolt option is currently available for UAE users only.

Deposits via Credit/Debit card
 
You can deposit via any VISA and MasterCard Credit/Debit card issued in the GCC, Jordan, Egypt, Tunisia and Algeria.
 
1. Enter the deposit amount.
2. Enter your Credit/Debit Card details
3. Confirm the amount and the fees and click Deposit.
 
The processing fee that is incurred on us by third parties is 3.99% for UAE users and 3.675 % for other users.
 
Deposits via Wire transfer
 
You can initiate a traditional wire transfer to our bank account in order to top up your account.
 
We will not charge FX fees, however, we will not cover any correspondent bank fees or international transfer fees.
 

7. What banks are supported for deposits & withdrawals?

Depositing and withdrawing funds from your BitOasis is available in UAE Dirham (AED) and Saudi Riyal (SAR).

We support all banks in the UAE except for Arab Bank. Below is a list of banks that we can receive deposits from.

8. Can I fund my BitOasis account through exchange houses?

The only way to fund your BitOasis account is through your personal bank account or Debit/Credit card issued in the GCC Jordan, Egypt, Tunisia and Algeria.

9.  Can I withdraw my AED/SAR balance to any bank account?

You can withdraw your AED/SAR balance to your personal bank account registered with BitOasis.
 
Withdrawal to your bank account is only available in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, and Bahrain. We support all banks in the UAE except for Arab bank.
 
1. Log in to your account via your BitOasis mobile app or website.
2. Click on Withdrawal and enter the Withdrawal amount in AED/SAR.
3. Enter your bank details and initiate the Withdrawal.

All withdrawal requests received Monday to Saturday before 11am (UAE Time) will be processed same day subject to a transfer amount up to AED 0.5M and depending on your bank.

Note: If the withdrawal request is submitted post the cut off time, next banking day processing will apply. T&C’s apply.

10. What is the difference between BitOasis Lite and BitOasis Pro?

Once you are verified on BitOasis, you will have access to Lite and Pro trading options.

Lite is our easy trading platform where you can exchange cryptocurrency. We have some great functionalities such as our Swap feature, this allows you to exchange crypto to crypto without fiat.

Pro is an advanced cryptocurrency trading platform designed to facilitate the exchange of cryptocurrency. This platform enables traders to initiate advanced trading orders, use charting tools as well as gain access to our liquid order books. It has been built to serve traders to facilitate their technical needs.

11. Are there any fees applicable on BitOasis Pro?

12.Which trading pairs are available on BitOasis Pro? And how much are the fees?

We have more than 190 pairs to trade with on BitOasis Pro, you can check them here along with the trading fees.

13. What happens if I am leaving one of the supported countries?

If you plan to leave one of our supported countries you will need to withdraw your funds before you move out of the country as our services are only available in the following countries: UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Oman, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, Libya and Iraq.
